Army issued gas mask what timeline and history?

    The mask pictured is not a M17. Looks more like some commercial apparatus.

    Good spotting Terry. I only paid attention to the printing on the US Army bag.

    Thank you Terry and Susan. I am told by my husband the mask belonging to the army bag is in our garage. Can I change this thread title for the commercial mask info? lol The bags were accidentally swapped when and I quote "I was trying them on" LOL He scares me sometimes ;)

    The mask is fairly modern. As a used civilian mask in unknown serviceability it has little to no value.

    I answered the other post, but I'll agree with previous poster here - the first bag may be military, but the other stuff isn't.
