Help with ID of Glass Pineapple Covered Jar, Please

    Dear Glass Lovers-
    Can anyone help to ID the maker, age or country of origin of this pineapple-shaped covered jar? Height is about 10". Unusually heavy clear glass. Cut and polished rim edge on the underside showing some age-related wear. Any ideas? Our searches don't seem to show this example.     I bought a box lot a few weeks back & a friend of mine grabbed it as soon as she laid eyes on the thing. Mine still had the Shannon sticker on the side. ;):D:D
