I've also got this posted over on the Bay site looking for help as well but I was wondering if anyone might recognize the mark under the lid? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

ZINN is the Gerrman word for both Pewter and/or Tin. SKS was established in Germany in 1932. Over the years the company has become the largest supplier of decorative pewter ware in Europe. The firm has purchased most of Germany’s competitors such as Karl Scheffer-Klute, William Blome. SKS was purchased in 2009 Artina of Austria.
I can’t make out the specific mark on your tankard.
