Ivory maybe?

Unsigned and made to look like ivory. The pictures were hard on this one. But thats a pinkish color. Anyone know who or what?

 

Just a guess but then texture on the back makes me think it might be coral.

Yeah - the dimples on the back of the carvings look like coral. Plastic would just be smooth on the back I reckon. But I'm not seeing ivory.

 

If the photos were in focus maybe someone could tell.....they look man made from a ball burr and dremel.

Coral can have holes or irregular cavities, no dimples. In white coral you often see a bumpy texture, holes, hexagonal cellular cavities with raised centres, these can extend to long, spidery structures, but no dimples:






Komo, the pendant in your picture has the cellular structure with the raised centre.

 

Try taking your photos on a plain white or black background. The green is interfering with the camera color focus. Also, if you take the photo from a bit further away and then crop it, you'll get a sharper image.

 

This looks like molded plastic to me.

 

i said plastic and I stand by plastic......from what I can see.

 

Exactly, no ivory, no coral, but costume jewellery with plastic, from what we can see so far. I think we're all in agreement.

 

I hope these are better. What ever the conclusion, any idea the value? 1,5,10,20?
