Help figuring out pin, organization? Shield?

Can't figure this out. Made by Eagle Regalia Co., which did special orders. Maybe the B.R.E. is someone's initials, or an organization? The shield on the right....anyone recognize it?, I couldn't find anything in my searches.
And finally, the man......Johnny Appleseed??
