    Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

    Has some of the LOOK of being from a Medieval Castle, but I am frequently WAAAY off base!!! OTHERS will want to see INSIDE, the back, closeups of the hinges, and any other pertinent information you can offer!!! Also please show a close-up of the lock as well! How/when did you acquire it?? Looks as heavy as a TON of bricks!!

    Not a clue, the top looks like it was added and the base is odd, flared and mitered at corners. I don't think old from what I can see of the joinery.

    Yes, now that you mention it, it does look Mexican and recent, something for the tourist trade I would guess.
