Is this basket vase old, new, and what is the origin?

    basket1.JPG basket2.JPG basket3.JPG basket4.JPG It's pretty soft/bendable but still kind of sturdy. Could someone tell me about it? It's about 5" tall. Thanks in advance.

    Based on the way it is started on the bottom, and what appears to be its double-walled construction, it's Tarahumara (Raramuri) from the Copper Canyon region of central Mexico. And fairly recent.
