jade birds

    Today I got these little figures. One is of them is a (jade?) eagle and the other one a bird of some kind. I'm not sure what stone that one is but it has small red inlaid eyes. Any thoughts, opinions?

    The eagle looks like BC jade, nephrite jade from Canada.
    The other bird looks like serpentine.
