    Hello --

I found this vase recently and I've hit a wall with the research. I've gone through all the pages on Gotheberg and I 'think' this is a style of Satsuma, possibly Kozan. It has a similar top and outside. Unfortunately, that is where my knowledge/research ends and I need help. If there is a way to know 'what' to look for, I would appreciate to know what that is, so I can learn too. I know that some of our regulars are very fast in their ID's.

This measures 4 3/4'' tall. All decoration is above glaze.

    Thank you for looking.

Chinese writing therefore it is chinese ceramics...artist wrote a dedication of art for the hills or mountains. There are so many chinese dialects...a tribe native may have better knowledge
