purple wine glasses

    I was hoping someone could help identify these. I have a set. It's amethyst and has six polished facets on the bowl and stem. Bottom is polished. 7". aDSC07336 (2).jpg

    Am I seeing this properly, is that an air trap? (Hollow)
    Do they have a nice ring? Clear as a bell?

    Yes, there is air in the stem and they ring like fine crystal but I've also found some tiny imperfections in them-unlike fine crystal.

    Sorry, None whatever. Yup, they're purple, I suspect four flat sides, I've seen similar, no knowldege about them. 20th Century Glass.
