    It seems like I got taken to the woodshed with this thing. I thought $80 was a decent deal for a cool lamp, but obviously not!
    I will probably return it now, especially with the undisclosed damage I won't lose any money but will gain a valuable lesson.

    Well I got it returned and my money back. Next time I won't buy a lamp sight unseen.
