Nude bookends, anyone seen these?

    These are marked "154" or so it appears. I dont recall seeing many nude bookends and never these.     I checked eboo for "art deco nude bookends" and got 216 hits, I guess there are quite a few out there. I didn't see any that matched yours but I didn't check them all.

    I also Googles the same thing and tons came up :)

    Hi there’s two versions of this design in collectors encyclopaedia of bookends - same pose but different bases. One is Ronson and the other not attributed. There were lots of companies copying designs around 1920s and 1930s (sometimes versions of European originals). Some of them only had paper maker’s labels so that’s possibly what yours had. I would assume American myself. Check out Hubley, Amor Bronze, Nuart, Frankart etc as examples and you might find them.
