who made this french demitasse? Emme Samson?

Hi,
I purchased this demitasse cup and saucer in Brussel antique fair a while ago along with 3 Edme Samson demitasse. The seller said that all four are of Paris Porcelain. I am wondering if this one is also by Edme Samson or by other Paris porcelain maker.

I can't help with WHO made it, but lightened up what was behind that black mark.....apparently, to my eye, not that much important, BWDIK!!! WELCOME to ANTIQUERS!!!! Others should be along to help you, so keep checking back!!

other 3 demitasse CSs are like this, with Emme Samson backstamp. all 4 (incl the one with unknown trident backstamp) are exactly the same dimensions. I hope it is safe to assume all are Emme Samson.

You mean Edme Samson, and I think those are Porcelain de Paris marks (the pseudo-Chinese marks).

I thought Edme Samson is one of Porlcealin de Paris factories. And I thought these 3 are by Edme Samson based on the website below.

quite interesting figure, but very hard to find out what he and his successors had in mind when doing these.

 

Thank you again! I have also read supernatural's comments, but I have totally misunderstood about it. So those 3 are from Porcelain de Paris. I hope that i can assume the last one with trident backstamp is also from Porcelain de Paris.

 

all in all from the decorations it's most probably from the Bloch era during art déco.
Porcelaine de Paris was dislocated to Orval at the time.

It is a great information to me. During the Bloch era & Art Deco era, so it is probably during early 20c.

make that mid-twenties into the thirties. it took off 1925 with the big Paris expo.
