PAINTING FIND SIGNED BINDU - ANYTHING TO DO w/INDIA ARTIST R.H. RAZA?

I found this at my local thrift store today (it had a $19.95 sticker which I showed cashier & paid but photographing back I saw it had 7Y written in sharpie (real price is in sharpie so no one can switch paper price tags; 7Y means $7 & yellow - so if yellow is color of the day you would get it for half price) - so I'm already $12 behind on this painting!
I got it because when I googled the artist Bindu it came up with a lot of expensive paintings by India artist R. H. Raza - but I now am thinking that Bindu is a Indian or hindu symbol / style.
I did find that Raza started out doing landscapes (Sayed Haider Raza is one of the most prominent and groundbreaking Indian painters of his generation. Can anyone tell me who the artist is?
Is the painting any good?

I see nothing that would connect that to the work of S. H. Raza. If I had to guess, I'd think a student piece.

The painting lacks talent..
there are staples and clips on the rear...
and it's from 2005............

Someone is filling up your thrift with items that are at best couch art....if not ....being sold at full retail !

 

It is painted by someone called Bindu, not Raza.
The painting you found by S.H. Raza is called 'Bindu', because bindu means dot in Hindi, and the subject is indeed a dot.

I dont think this even looks like the early Raza's that he painted before he started painting the geometric shapes. In 2005 he was painting geometric shapes.
