ID help Glass vase

    I have bougt this vase a while ago and unfortunatlly i couldn't identify the maker. It is definitfly mond blown and has some age. There are some glass imperfecties like glass seads and air bells.
    Any idea?

    Is it black glass or clear smoke glass?
    Size might also help.

    Shape is based on ancient Roman glass.

    Thank you for taking time to look at it
    I think its clear smoked glass but i'm not sure of i can see the differece between clear smoked glass or black glass:joyful:.

    Its 21cm high, top diameter=13,5cm and bottom 8cm

    Black glass is usually opaque.
    Clear smoke color - you can see through.

    Clear smoke color tends to be 1970s and later.
    Black opaque tends to be 1930s and later.
    At least here in the US.
    Since you are using cm as a measure, I'm assuming you are somewhere other than the US.

    Thank you, very informatieve. Then definitely smoked clear glass. And yes you're right i'm not form the USA. i live in holland.

    I don't think it's British. The Roman shape ones I've seen the most often are made by LaFiore glass on Mallorca, but they're usually lighter colours and scavo finished.
