Unsure what this is

    Could someone tell me what this piece is please?

    I have been told that it might be a brass ship's ashtray.

    The height is 26 cm without the change.

    It is an oil lamp.:) The spouts are for multiple wicks, more light.

    Oil lamp is my vote too. No attachment marks for chandelier arms.
