    Hi,
They look like percolator tops. I have a collection also.

These appear to be frosted. Wouldn't percolator tops be clear? I think that Billy's on the right track thinking they have something to do with signs or marquees.

We bought some property with an old shed with a bunch of junk/stuff which was 98% trash. Among them was a 5 gallon bucket full of these. They are frosted. Someone suggested insulators, but I haven't seen any like this. Especially since they are somewhat decorative.

I searched and did find this one percolator top that the base does look similar.

I wonder if they might not be an insulator for an electric fence of some sort. Although ,I have no idea how they would be attached. Just a thought

They look to decorative to me to be an insulator, but since I'm on here asking, I obviously don't know. They are hollow inside also.

I understand that completely, but if you found a 5 gallon bucket of them, they must have needed multiple of them for a project. It's just figuring out what project. I don't see them as percolator tops, all I have ever seen are clear ones. BWDIK.

the base seems to slot and twist...holding them in place..............

I agree that all of the percolator tops I found also were clear. The tabs on the bottom look to me like they are for aligning with a slot to lock in place once twisted like the previous post says.

Just wondering - could these be like the little glass (or some times plastic) pieces that go into tabletop ceramic Christmas trees that have a light bulb inside? Yes, they would all be "white" lights instead of the usual multi-colored look, but maybe?

Possibly. They are open on the inside with room for a small bulb.

The ones I'm referring to are lighted by a single lamp sized bulb inside the "tree."
