finding others like them. I see a lot of planes but not these. Standard playing cards all there. 20200915_151104_resize_2.jpg 20200915_150030_resize_37.jpg 20200915_151048_resize_27.jpg

You just want to find a matching set?

No I am thinking it might be a rare deck that not many were made.

Plane is similar to a B-17 from WWII. Did find a picture with the same box, description card, & Joker, but different covers.
Sadly no info with the picture though - Maybe it was a series of different covers on the cards? I see the words "ARRCO VICTORY" with this Box cover a few times on auction sites - thats all I got.

Thats what I saw. I have seen others just different designs. Was wondering if they were for soldiers Or for purchasing war bonds.

Definitely a B-17 Thank you. Even knowing that I still can't find one single card that is the same. Amazing.

I don't believe that premiums/giveaways were ever offered for purchasing war bonds. Do you have information that they were?

No not at all perhaps they went to the soldiers.

Victory playing cards were made in 1945 by the ARRCO Playing Card Company.
