Hi all picked up this little vase today. The sticker covered the base but I bought it for the awesome colours of blue. Took the sticker of to limoges stamp. I have no idea on limoges so Googling later found some details and this looks like a more recent one but the question is also if you have a look on the bottom there is another green stamp under the more prominent one says france so correct me if I'm wrong it is an export vase because it has that written. 150mm high. Was hoping someone could confirm limoges and approx age please cheers chris 15040775858473.jpg 15040775734432.jpg 15040775626261.jpg 15040775464600.jpg

Double marked items are not unusual for Limoges. It means that one factory produced it but another decorated it. Your green stamp would indicate the factory that produced it and the gold stamp on top is the company that decorated it. Since you only have "France" as a factory mark it won't be possible to identify which factory. As for age, I'd say anytime between the 1960's and today. Love the handles.

Thanks for the info was a tough buy for 4 dollars.
I did do some research before posting as I try and do now but what you have all said makes more sense than I tried to work out. I have only been a member for a couple of weeks and I must say that the knowledge and time people spend on finding out info for people has amazed me just fabulous. Best to everyone chris from a chilly Melbourne.
