not sure if it is authentic. payed $525 for it at an estate sale. any help identifying would be awesome. it is called The Northern. it is heavy as hell. 119860086_3466814780072767_3374501548451787212_n.jpg 119690598_359422558765168_4109099292272845383_n.jpg 119706834_4408553385881308_547789723078113411_n.jpg 120019024_3105927249535750_4850571384459787232_n.jpg

    It is "Norther" not "Northern".

    Size?

Does 27/250 mean it is a limited edition?

If this is really Remington you need to take it to someone who is qualified to authenticate it and give you the paperwork to prove it!

I think this from the link Say_it_slowly posted answers your query. Still a reasonable price for the piece. 0CE9A552-9985-4CC3-A133-7862D4E545AC.jpeg

I think I remember an antiques roadshow person saying that of all the Remingtons brought in (and there are many brought in), only one was the real deal. They're reproduced in such big numbers that you really have to prove that it's real.

so what would it be worth? it is not a fake, made of bronze (we ran a magnet over it,) it has the frederic sig spelled correctly. amazing condition.
