    Hi All,

this is a little beauty with a couple ancient Marlboro's in it. I do not know how old, where from, or what design it is. Also, would it be called a Humidor, or is that just in reference to Cigar boxes? I would like to try and price it out, so appreciate your help.

    Thanks much!

Yes, cigarette case; no, humidor. Really cool. Do you think any of the metal is silver, such as around the edge of the cover? Looks in good shape for something enameled.

I am taking some metal pieces to see what they actually are. I lost the picture showing it fully open. Many things are packed in storage to sell, so have to dig it out. I found a similar design on the web, hoping to find it again to see if the style is really the same. In the meantime, I hope others might have more info. Thanks!

Also, I had a terrible time sizing my pictures...what is a good pixel size to use? Thanks greatly.

I wonder if the figures are a depiction of the Eight Immortals. Looking at the fourth one from the left, it looks like he's a larger fellow and is showing his belly (can you verify?):

Zhongli Quan (鐘离權; Pinyin: Zhōnglí Quán)
Zhongli Quan was reputed to have lived during the Zhou dynasty (1122-256 BC). Among his many powers were transmutation and the knowledge of the elixir of life. His attribute is a fan, which can bring the dead back to life.
He is represented as a Fat Man with his bare belly showing.
Zhongli Quan represents the military man.

Thanks so much. I will take more close ups of it. What would I search for to find more of this style on objects?

I could be reading way into this, but there's a water-spout in this depiction of the Eight Immortals and the Dragon King of the East Sea:[IMG]
and on your cig. case, in the center(left and right), it looks like similar symbols for a water spout. I don't see any dragon, but a lot of sinuous shapes. Again, my brain may be making a correlation to substantiate my original Eight Immortals guess.
