Help Please Artist and age

    Hi,
    NEVER NEVER NEVER wash a oil painting with water!!!!!! It will soak into the gesso and paint will start flaking after a while.

    This may sound strange, but I read 'Ireland Cork'. Could be wrong of course, but the city of Cork has a natural harbour, and county Cork probably has the longest coastline of all Irish counties. It also has grey rocks and cliffs along the coast.
