Hi guys does someone know the artist? I can only see the initials could be W C and the date 1820 something appreciates thank you

frame. The frame can be helpful in dating which, in turn, can be helpful in identifying the artist.

That said... It appears to be one of the picturesque ruined abbeys in the UK. With a Google Image search, you should be able to identify which.

So the year of the work is given next to the artist's signature. It appears to be 1826. Is that correct?
