    Welcome, lorraine. I've seen a lot of French marks but don't recognize this one off-hand. Can we see a picture of the whole item? And what leads you to believe it's French? The answers to both questions may help us to help you.

    Nice find INH. I should have thought of Samson. And, of course, I searched "S with branches" rather than "S with twigs". :hilarious::hilarious:
