Could this be a pottery mark?
It looks like someone tried to remove it, which is totally weird?
    I see a clover leaf ?

I'm not even sure if it's porcelain anymore, looks like there are tiny bubbles between the green paint and the glaze.
Meissen had a similar pattern but this looks way older.
    Any ideas?

Marks were sometimes removed if the item was a second or if it was being sold to a decorating company. The manufacturer would not necessarily want an item sold under their label in case the decoration proved to be shoddy or otherwise inferior. The pattern looks to me roughly like a grape leaf and vine or maybe ivy. Almost impossible to tell who made it without some additional clue. Neither the blank nor the decoration provide many distinctive search terms. You could try and image search and see if anything turns up.

    I don’t think it’s a Mark - just a blemish in the glaze.
Can you see through it if held to a strong light?

Can you photo the whole base and underside of the lid?

Yes those are grape vines. I found a identical one in shape yet the decoration is different. Supposedly Biedermeier period, I'm not sure

@John Brassey I believe it is a mark, it's right in the middle plus only that part is scratched. Sure I'll take more pictures

So a few conclusions, it's certainly porcelain. It's hand painted and they used some sort of stencils or something like that for the leaves, the vine is done freely

Here the weird bubbles in the glaze

Tje mark was scratched out with something pretty sharp, you can see marks of some knife or something like that

And it's right in the middle where a mark should be
