James Dean - ending soon on Etsy

It took me a while to figure out this was James Dean, as it's not his typical look. Dean worked on his Texas accent and roping skills with Bob Hinkle, who is shown in the photo with Dean.

OH man, he was one of the young rebels to die so young.....so sad!!!!! SO handsome, he was!!!! I also have/had seen that image before somewhere!!!!!

 

All I could think of was how I was able to wear a shirt like that WAY back when! Sigh,how I miss you,30 inch waist !

Ah, the film that Liz Taylor claimed woke her up to the injustices suffered by minorities.............and still studied as such today. There was a symposium regarding the racial prejudices portrayed in this film recently and some of the participants were local extras who appeared in the film.

I think I had better put my social activism hat back on the shelf....but the meeting about the Vietnam documentary has brought back "old times" when I used to be involved with these things as an academic..........

 

By the way, I marked the price of this way down. My selling strategy is to move things rather than waiting months for someone willing to pay my price. Sometimes my strategy works.
