Antique Cobblers Desk

We recently came into possession of a beautiful Cobblers Desk used for shoe repair. However we don't really know much about it. Google searches have results that appraise them between $200 and $2000. The desk we have looks like it could be on the higher range but we aren't sure. Are there any ways to figure out the age, location and furniture maker of the piece? Here are some pictures of the furniture.

I hate to dash your hopes, but this was a popular coffee table style in the 1960s.
Early American design was very popular.

MANY, MANY DECADES ago we had one similar......my youngest brother had SO MANY cigarette burns in it you could hardly see the brown stain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Desk? It's a bench isn't it?
Even if antique which it probably isn't because it looks like a multi-board bench, they aren't selling for much here.

Agree that this is a coffee table in the form of a cobblers bench. See very few real ones out there.
