Limoges small plate

    Hi Chris - generic Limoges blank sold to decorating companies. Most likely stencil but may have a few hand painted accents. If you have a jeweler's loop or magnifing glass look closely at the decoration. If you see dots it's a stencil. If you see brush marks it's hand painted. You can find these plates with lots of different decorations. Overall, not too hard to find. The gold wear is unfortunate and will hold down value. Even intact it's not worth much, I'm afraid. As is under $3. Intact about $10 on a good day.

    I hate to say it, but in this case the holder may be worth more than the plate.

    Thanks guys you see these things and being new to this go for 4 bucks worth the risk and then you know for next time. Have saved quite a bit because of this site and that's why it's great
