    Wow, those are some guide prices!:eek:. I’m totally ignorant of glass of this quality. Presumably it’s all exceedingly rare.

    Nice bit o' gear alright!

    My collection starts in the late 18thc, where theirs ends!!

    It's absolute hen's teeth. Quite a bit of facon de Venise, which is incredibly fragile wondrous stuff.

    I can't keep a set of heavy tumblers intact for 10 years, how in the world has this survived? Some friends and I went to the Corning Glass Museum a few years back and there were intact pieces from biblical times. I was stunned!

    I have no interest in owning pieces like these. Best left to the museums. I would be too uncomfortable with it and terrified of breaking it. But I can look!
