Hi all, I am in need of assistance.

A friend of mine has asked if I could help to identify this mark on a piece of furniture she is gifting to her dad:

All I know is, this is the royal cypher of King George VI, and I can infer that this was made in 1941, but if anyone can assist with identifying who would have made that 'W.Ltd' imprint, I'd be very grateful.

    Thanks in advance,

    Martin

    Civil service office furniture.

W Ltd would have been whoever was under contract to make such stuff.
