I bought this super cheap from an estate sale in Melbourne, Australia about 5 years ago. In Melbourne we have been in lockdown since March so to make ends meet we have been selling all our random junk online. My husband has never really liked this pedestal much haha but before I get rid of it I thought I should find out more about it - just in case!

It's 81cm (33 inches) high and 34cm (13.5 inches) wide and it's much heavier than it looks.

There are two small nicks out of it (see pics).

I was wondering if anyone could please tell me anything about it and maybe what you think it might be worth?

    Thanks so much!

    Welcome April.
The style of your Chinese plant stand was popular from the late 19th-early 20th century. I think yours is towards the latter end of that period.
We usually don't do values, as they depend on so many circumstances, like where you are, but maybe fellow Melburnian @Shangas has an idea if there is any value in this in Melbourne.

Here is one and there a lot more on google images but this has the marble top too. I know its a little different in design. Not sure if the price is accurate or not but a lot of the ones I found were asking 800 and up.
