    I'll bet it's a Utility piece. I'd like to see photos. ;)

    Have a look and see if it has CC41 stamped on it.

    Thank guys that's what I thought but can't find any info about the company jus like who was front designer n how long it was popular. Established from and to etc

    Pick any of 700 firms that produced the furniture.
    Because of WWII there was a severe shortage of wood and thus a shortage of furniture
    It was a Government run scheme.

    New furniture was rationed and was restricted to newlyweds and people who had been bombed.

    Enfurn was one of the factories, but they went on after the war. That actually looks a bit later, it's not a utility design. Can you show the front and some better views?
