    1. Cup and saucer. Cup measures 2 7/8" tall and is 3 1/8" wide. The saucer measures 5 7/8" in diameter. Both pieces are signed.

    2. Cup only measures 1 7/8" tall and is 3 5/8" wide. Signed on the base and also has calligraphy next to the handle.

Wondering if anyone can help with a time period or a maker. Any information would be appreciated.

I think the first one is newer.
The second one Mid 1900s. Certainly after WWII

    Just guessing

I was thinking kutani for the bottom one, but I don't see the character for 9 -- 九.
