If you are using your phone for these pictures, please email them to yourself at medium size, save & then upload here. That should get you under the 1MB size limit. Be sure and select "full image" when you post or it will default to thumbnails that are annoying. 1a.jpg 2a.jpg 3a.jpg Most people won't click on links like you posted.

I've only resized the first 3 pics.

Hey again! I didn't know if I should do an update post or just post it in the comments, but I managed to actually find the painting that my drawing is a study from, it's called Vénus et les Amours by Francois Boucher: [IMG]. Oddly enough though my drawing, aside from some other differences, is a reversed version of the painting. I also found an engraving of the painting that was done five years later though, and that's also a flipped image of the painting, which makes me wonder if my sketch might just be a study from the engraving, and not the painting? Any other reason someone would flip the subject they were drawing?

Good find. As the drawing is reversed, matching the engraving, I'd suggest redrawn from the engraving. Lots of little bits of the draughtsman making it his own.

I like your drawing better than either the engraving or the painting.

This engraving of a Boucher work shows a similar head:
