Chinese (or is it Japanese?) pot. Thoughts?

It’s large at 13” widest and 13” tall. Signed on bottom. Doesn’t seem super new or super old. Very cool textured glaze I have not seen before. I like the paint work a lot minus the dwellings which I don’t like as much as the rest. Any guesses as to age? What would you call the textured glaze? Chinese right? Marks look familiar?

    The calligraphy is Korean 恩星 = Eun Seong (Pronounced Unsong)


    Here's a clear example of the same mark.

    Awesome! Thanks! That explains why it wasn’t screaming Chinese or Japanese at me clearly. I thought the marks looked different than what I was used to seeing from both.

    Looks like it would be called Baek Ja which people seem to translate to white celadon.

    It is a rather contemporary piece of Korean pottery. As a rule, Korean antique potteries are not signed. Only the newer ones are signed, at least most of the time
