    First off, how tall is it and how wide from outside of one handle to outside of opposite handle?

    It (almost) looks like a pottery "loving cup" in a way, at least to me. ;)

    Looks like a pottery Betty lamp to me - though I have to admit I have never seen one with a double wick......................

    Edited to add: Sometimes called a "grease lamp" or a "spout lamp" I think
