Help please, with salt glazed, cobalt blue Santa Clauses

These salt glazed santas were in with the lot that had Rowe, MEL, David Eldreth, Beaumont Brothers and Westerwald.

On the bottom of the one on the right is a mark that looks like an E over an F over a T (or TEF?). Anyone know where these santas are from? Do you think they are from the '80s-'90s like the other items I had? They are about 4 1/2" tall. Thank you for your time!

 

I don't know anything about them, but they are too cool! I love them! just my kinda stuff! Never seen anything like them.

 

Try a little cinnamon rubbed on the bottom.

Are they salt glazed, or just blue?

 

I guess they aren't salt glazed after all. The finish would be textured, and it is smooth. They have a more gray background than the pictures seem to show...

 

Great idea! Did that, and that area is soooo small I still cannot tell with my magnifying glass. Going to look again tomorrow in the daylight.

 

Possibly China. They've produced a lot of ceramic Santas over the last few years.

 

The cinnamon did help, but in the sunlight the marks are just small slashes, best we can tell.

Still wondering about the T over E over F and not finding anything on Google.
