I found a ton of this ovenware today, it resembles Pyrex.

Anchor Hocking, Oven Proof, made in USA.

Is it collectable or just run of the mill charity stuff.?

The whole house including this stuff is covered in nicotine.

I have some FireKing Jadeite I enjoy and is collectable but it is in a down market it seems and there are a lot of copycats making similar wares. Not sure about your particular pattern, but generally FireKing in my mind is a little better then the usual thrift store wares.

That doesn't sell for much here. Some Fire King sells pretty well, this pattern not so much. I wouldn't blame you if you just hauled it to the charity but for future reference, a trip through the dishwasher with hot water and good dishwashing soap (Cascade is pretty much the best here) cuts through that gunk pretty well. It usually doesn't even smell afterward.

Get a bottle of Lidl liquid washing detergent, and a bucket of very hot water. Soak it. That'll do it.

I think its more trouble than its worth, I'll let my charity take it.

They took a truck load of furniture and appliances away today and it all needs cleaning.

They come back for the small stuff tomorrow.

I got a crate of small antiques / collectables out of it and I'm getting well paid.

Here there is a whole backlash going on with houses where the owners smoked for years. Apparently the build up of smoke permeates all the building materials and can cause serious health problems for anyone moving into the house. Painting doesn't help, it doesn't seal the surfaces, all they can do is pull down and replace all the walls and flooring :(

I have asthma/allergies and couldn't live in a house like this or one with strong pet odors. When my parents were house shopping when I was younger we had to be very careful.

Oh! That's nasty! I would take it to the dump! Here, even the charities would throw it away due to the nicotine stains.

Too late, the charity did not want them.

All the crockery, glass, and ornaments went to the tip, except for a few pieces of Sylvac.

NO! Never put it in the dishwasher! It damages any color or design on the dish. A soft sponge, warm water, and probably diluted ammonia to remove the residue.

Putting this decal decorated stuff through a dishwasher is disastrous. A big problem with all the old glass and china is that it has to be hand washed, and nobody wants to bother. At least glass is impermeable, so the grime sits on the surface, it doesn't soak in. Something like mineral spirits would do the job fast and easy, but it's still time, effort, mess and expense on items of no great value.

I had a glass tray that was filthy when I got it and, with all of the crevasses and whatnot in the pattern, simply would not come clean. Fortunately it was clear glass with no added color or decoration, so I took paint stripper to it. It sparkled after that.

I'm afraid all this stuff went to the dump. Not worth cleaning, the charity I work with did not want it.

By now it will be melted down and used for something else.
