I found this little bottle at the back of one of my Grandma's drawers. I think it is a perfume bottle and I think the lid is silver. I am keen to try and work out the hallmark myself and am hoping someone can please point me in the right direction of a good online site for identifying hallmarks. Thanks a million.

Great sites. Thanks!!! I've had a look online and these little scent bottles look as though they are quite collectible? His work also looks as though it is good quality (with the very little knowledge I have). Any idea what the marking is on top of the lid?

It is a monogram. What were your Grandma's initials? I'm hopeless figuring out monograms! "A", "R", "L"?

I know the word "Collectable" is used in Australia, lets not put Americanisms in :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

It probably came from a very nice travelling case.

    Yes, Tracey, indeed they are!

I personally LOVE all sorts of little crystal things with sterling accents. (Actually, I love all sorts of little crystal things, period ...and all sorts of little sterling things!)

I mix them all together in my display cabinets - vanity items, serving pieces, decorative bits - I don't care that they don't "belong" together!

Here's a little shelf in one of my display pieces:

It may not "go together", but I like it!

It looks very expensive. I love that look Also very sparkly. Sort of Bohemian because it doesn't match. You have some beautiful things. Thanks for sharing.
