Thanks AJ, very informatief and helpfull. If we google the color codes we can easliy see that the yellow color much different color is than the gold yellow or normal yellow. Its reddish yellow to brownish
i posted the pictures of the first 2 yellow codes and the last yellow code. I dowloaded also the 3 code but i cant post here. I donno whats wrong with the 3 picture. If you would like to know what kind of yellow the 3 code is, pls google the Munsell 2,5y 8/6.

That is just for the experiments published on the experimental archaeology site, so very limited compared to the entire spectrum of bronze alloys. To be fair, they never claimed it was a complete test of all bronze alloys ever manufactured.
The name bronze covers many more alloys containing copper, tin and others. For example, if you add gold to the mix, you will get a much more yellow tone.

It is impossible for us to judge the precise colour of charlie's spaniel, since we don't have it in hand.:)
For a more exact comparison, you would also need to know which bronze alloys were used in Austria at the time of the Vienna cold painted bronzes. A nice project for people who love going down rabbit holes.;)

I was talking about the rabbit hole of which bronze alloys were used in Austria at the time of the Vienna cold painted bronzes. Not the difference between brass and bronze.

I have one of those dogs. Mine is white with brown spots - or what's left of the paint. My mother always put it in a plant for some reason.
