Sorry, this is the only photograph that I have and a close-up of the mark. Do you know which company made this? It didn't have a motor. Thank you,
    Mill

Probably home made from a kit or plans in a magazine(Popular Mechanics, etc.)

Popular Mechanics magazine has been around since 1902,but I doubt the boat is older than the 60's.

    Thank you. :)

I haven't found anything that looks like this searching online. Does this type of boat have a specific name?

Maybe a front and bottom shot would help but from what I see I'd have to say hydroplane.

Best to take pics with solid backgrounds usually in black or white. :)

It was at a yard sale in a dark barn, out of reach and they were closing the doors. I used the zoom on my camera phone to get this photo. I don't even know how much they were asking for it. I thought it was worth researching to see if it's worth going back to get it. If not, I will sleep in.

It's like a hydroplane, but has an airplane propeller behind the driver's seat.

Good point I missed though I'd say same difference. :)

    OH! Ok.
Well it's missing its pilot/driver and prop which, itself, may not be of issue since you can find one and who knows what it SHOULD look like anyway.
THAT brings on the question is this supposed to be powered by gas?
If the propshaft is there then the engine should be.

    If it's cheap I'd buy it. :)
