    Hi Antiquers

I was given these two pottery bowls by my art teacher back in c1965. I have kept them ever since but always wondered who the potter was. The are hand thrown 13cms diameter x 5.5cms high. I went to school back in the 60's in London so I always presumed that they were British. They look very Japanese in style though - like rice bowls .
I have attached some images - I hope someone may be able to "throw" some light on them?
Thanks in advance - with best regards Gary
