    Typical late 18th century 'Old English' ladle - lovely even with the dinged-up bowl...

    I totally agree with you Bakersgma. Once I got to my computer that I could enlarge the mark the date code is in a cartouche. Thank you for pointing that out. (I searched through G's and Q's as well.) Am I seeing correctly that there is a "
    • "in between the Makers Mark Lettering? I have also searched all my resources for S.I, S.L, etc. to no avail.
