10K Gold Pin Sorority?

Picked up this pin from an estate sale. Its is a 2 piece pin, the back has a round screw on piece. But I don't know anything about the front.

I believe it is a fraternity pin.
The last word is Kappa - Greek alphabet for the first
Just when I think I found the correct one I realize the symbols are just a little different.

Lapel pin or tie tack implies a fraternity rather than sorority.

If your's is stamped with CTO on the back like this one, then the maker is O.C. Tanner Jewelry of Salt Lake City. According to the following websites they have been making fraternity jewelry since the 1940s.
