Is there any way to tell if this vase is old or not, just from the scenic panels? The base is unmarked. Thanks! IMG_6258.JPG IMG_6259.JPG IMG_6260.JPG IMG_6259.JPG IMG_6260.JPG IMG_6258.JPG IMG_6259.JPG IMG_6260.JPG

It is not old, the faces are painted in a modern style. The clothing is Chinese in style, but the vase could be Japanese, or even Thai.
It is lovely, very attractive, and a beautiful blue.

Isn't this printed in outline and then painted over rather roughly with the solid colour? Which would mean new. Look how crudely and with how little understanding it's blocked in where the tree overlaps with the trellis.

Certainly not an artist who made it. A decorative piece, with decorative value, not artistic or antique.

Thanks--now I will put in our shop at a modest price without wondering if I had made a big mistake!

It is very pretty. I saw one recently but didn't have time to check it out thoroughly...

That's O.K.--I basically wanted to know if it was old or not, and thanks to many responders, it appears to be a modern copy.
