Silver overlay vase

ID help please

 

Not a clue. Does it have any marks anywhere? Can we get a shot of the underside of the base? I don't recognize it, but one of the "glassies" might.

 

There is no any marks just three gem stone

 

May I ask where it's from?

 

They vase shape and handle do not look like glass to me more of a pottery appearance. Could the metalic overlay be pewter?

 

Hello, I do not speak English well, sorry for that, for the first answer, I'm from Jordan if that was your question, but as for the picture, as I said before it is glass, not pottery or any other kind.

If it were mine, I would wash and polish it. You may find a mark as you are cleaning.
It's unusual. Might be pewter as mentioned. Using a silver polish will clean it if pewter or make it shine if it is silver.
Did you find it in the US or another country?

 

I would guess that it falls into the category of Middle East - North African glass but it is not my area of expertise. A merchant in your area who deals in items imported from the other Middle East and North African countries might be able to help.
