This is a pretty platter but who is the maker and can we date it to 40's or 50's

Hi I want to get more info on this platter. The flower motif is so pretty and I think that it dates to the sixties but my sister says 40' 50's... Who is correct? Do you know the maker? There are no marking on the back or anywhere I can see. It has gold trim.
    Thank you!! 20171111_120332-COLLAGE.jpg IMG_20171105_112315.jpg IMG_20171105_112218.jpg

Personally I think it's even earlier possibly 1900's-1920's. I'm basing this on the decoration and mold work. By the 1940's all those brittle edges had fallen out of favor and simpler shapes were in use. If I had to pin down a country of origin I'd say Germany with Austria a close second. As it's unmarked identifying the specific manufacturer is unlikely. All this is JMHO.

Thanks Don :) That's helpful to know. Dating as far back as 20's. I am still researching. I hope to find out more. I may want to sell it?

With that ring on the bottom look at the German, Austrian.
RS Tillowitz, RS Austria, I doubt RS Prussia, but possibly.

I'm with Don 1890-1910. Pre WWI.

I agree with Don & Cluttered, this probably dates to the early part of the last century based on the decor and mold Sorry I don't know who.

Thanks for the support. I will most likely wait a few more days before listing it!
