Featured rosary beads and discdisc

    The text on the 1923 medallion is in Portuguese.
    The rosary itself could be 20s or 30s, very pretty with those pearls. The pearls are imitation, but are convincing enough for me to look twice.:) The damaged one shows the plastic core though.
    The medallions on the rosary are much more recent. One of them is of st. Anthony of Padua, a very popular saint, boss of the lost property department.;) Here is more on that tradition:

    The pouch looks homemade, maybe 1960s-70s.

    awesome thanks aj thought they may have some age to them definitely plastic as you said the 2 dollars was a tough buy:)

    The Rosary's not that old either, probably 1950s. That bit from Goa probably had a gold setting at one point in its life, but somebody melted it. I've seen those before.

    The leatherette case isn't that old, but it's typical. A man would carry this in his pocket. The case for a woman's would be prettier and more feminine. I inherited all kinds of medals and rosaries from my French Canadian Catholic elders. They still sell fairly well on Ebay. Check out completed auctions.

    Probably a phonephone. I mostly post from a split key ergonomic, at the other extreme end of the size spectrum.
