Help Identify Mersman

    Found this Mersman 267 5 and can't find what its intended use was. Any help with name or purpose appreciated.

    Greetings, nwobhm. We're going to need more pictures I suspect and from other angles t00. Is "Mersman" on a mark? Can you show the mark?

    Is that a door on the side? Is there a compartment. It looks like it belongs on a desk if it's small enough.

    Markings.....Mersman closed in 1995. This marking was from the 70's to the 90's.

    The outer storage area is way to big for magazines....23.5" X 8" at widest.

    I'm thinking blankets?

    Agree with wiscbirddog. It's a side table with an attached magazine rack. See them all the time sitting beside itchy plaid sofas. They're a few inches shorter than the side tables we use now, but so are the sofas.
