    I can not get a better picture to show the abalonie like stone it is made from. What is this? auction 799.jpg

    This is a pick to spear cheese cubes, pickles, olives etc. at cocktail time. Usually sold in sets of 6 or 12. Sometimes made of bone or french ivory, don't recall seeing an abalone set.

    It does depend on size because the cocktail forks I have are only a couple of inches long.
